	Sunday 29th January Starting 14:30pm	Auckland: The Famous Kaiaua Fish-n-Chip Run: Our usual meeting point, the Botanical Gardens at Manurewa, is becoming too crowded these days, so this year we will have a new meeting point. Meet at the Ardmore Café, 500 Harvard Lane, Ardmore Airport at 2.30pm for afternoon tea/coffee and then leave at 3.30pm for Kaiaua. The drive there takes you through Clevedon, down the coast of the Firth of Thames to Kaiaua for a picnic tea of fish and chips from their famous Fish & Chip Shop. This run provides the lot – Great roads for an enjoyable drive, great scenery, a great location for a picnic with a conveniently located pub and world class fish & chips. Monthly:

Club Nights (Auckland)
(1^st Tuesday of Month)

An informal monthly gathering currently held in the downstairs Bar & Restaurant at the "Horse & Trap" 3 Enfield St, Mt Eden. Staring at 7:30pm or from 6:30pm-7:00pm onwards if you want a meal.. Sometime replaced by Technical Nights - see below.
May not be held in January - check calendar above.

Club (or Interclub) events
(Auckland) The Auckland Group also aims to arrange an event on the 3rd Sunday of each month when possible . Watch the calendar above for details.

Technical Nights A technical presentation or discussion on a wide range of interesting items. These are usually held on 1st Tuesday of the month in lieu of the normal Club Night. Watch the calendar above and TRansmission magazine for details. Past evenings have covered gearboxes, auto-upholstery, overdrives, fuel injection, wheel alignment and several other topics.

Periodically: Picnic runs, Go-kart evenings, Grasskhanas and several other events for everyone to get together for loads of fun are held during the year. Watch the calendar above and TRansmission magazine for details.

Annually:

Sailing Day
(Early February)

This is an Auckland based event and an opportunity for members to get together in a non-car environment. A number of members have yachts and welcome the opportunity to share their sailing pleasures around the Auckland harbour

TR National Weekend
(Date varies)

This is the main event of the year that brings members throughout the country together to celebrate the TR marque. Usually held January, February or March

Classics in the Park - Hill Climb
(1st Sunday in May)

A high profile event in the Auckland Motor-sport calendar. The emphasis is on classic cars throughout the history of New Zealand motor-sport and provides rare free public viewing in the beautiful surroundings of the Auckland Domain

Mid Winter Dinner
(Late June)

An opportunity to enjoy a traditional Christmas dinner at a time of year more suited to the fare than the New Zealand calendar Christmas.

Isadora Duncan Scavenge Rally
(Usually around September)

A gimmick trial organised as a tribute to the fun loving dancer Isadora Duncan who lost her life when her long scarf tangled in the wheel of her sports car.

Annual General Meeting
(End of October)

Breakfast Run
(Mid December)

A combined event with Thoroughbred and Classic Car Owners Club which takes members in convoy to a location an hours drive north of Auckland to enjoy a pre-Christmas social event with like-minded car enthusiasts.

These events are interspersed with Technical evenings, a bi-annual bent sprint, video nights, a monthly club night in Auckland, various regional and Inter-marque events - trials, go-karts, circuit races, hill climbs, motorkhanas and Concours d'elegance.
